Security Features

Syphan’s ITC220 incorporates a wide range of network security functionality in a single, high-speed appliance. Using patent-pending “Stealth-trap” algorithms incorporating signature, protocol anomaly detection and heuristic behavioural analysis, together with multiple rule sources, the Syphan ITC220 can be configured to meet the security requirements of the most complex corporate and agency networks.

The ITC’s unique multi-tenancy capability means that a single appliance can be configured to support up to 500 discrete client security profiles or 1000 corporate VLANs with customised user-group security policies.

Based on an FPGA chip platform and multi-dimensional parallel processing techniques, the ITC220 supports up to 50,000 complex rules and protects 10 Gbit networks against the latest multi-staged, application-layer stealth attacks.
